He parked his car in front of the
Dean’s house, and quickly made his way to the front door. After two knocks Kent
answered, and quickly let him inside.
They stood there in the entry way,
Kent’s eyes unable to meet his.
“Are you going to yell at me, too?”
he bit his lower lip.
“No,” Eugene smiled. Then, without warning, he cracked Kent across
the face, sending the boy sprawling onto the hard tile floor. “I’m going to fix
this.”
“My dad…” Kent started, but Eugene
didn’t let him finish.
He grabbed Kent by the hair pulling
his head back. When he spoke his voice was calm, almost void of emotion. “I
know what your daddy wants you to do. I
don’t care. My idea is more fun.” He pulled Kent to his feet.
The younger man whimpered, and the
sound drove Eugene wild. He needed to control himself, though. There would be time for fun later. First, he needed to take care of business.
“What do you want me to do?” Kent
turned and looked at him, his eyes wide.
As much as he was a wimp, Kent
didn’t look it. He was tall, with broad
shoulders, and a chiseled face. He was
the perfect, all American college student.
His dark brown hair was close cropped in a military flat top, and his
thin, but muscular build screamed athlete.
It was his eyes, though, that gave him away. They were a soft hazel, and when he was
scared, or excited, they went wide. His
eyes showed his need to be controlled.
Eugene did his best to control
himself. “I want you to get some of your football buddies and take care of
Stephen Markham. He’s the one whose been
snooping around. You guys teach him to
stay out of things that don’t concern him.”
Kent just nodded.
Eugene reached out, his finger
gently tracing the outline of Kent’s jaw.
Slowly he lifted Kent’s face to meet his. “Have you been doing what I
asked you to?”
Kent nodded.
“I want you to keep on doing your
work for me. Obviously you can’t do it
here, so I want you to move all of your equipment to my place. That way we can both enjoy it.” He smiled.
“What about the other stuff? The
videos with…” Kent looked away.
“Oh, there is no need to stop that.”
Eugene’s hand gently drifted to Kent’s broad chest. “Your home movies sell very
well to my clientele. You and your… what do you call him? Your daddy and you make
me a real pretty penny.”
“I hate calling him that.” Kent
cringed. “My ‘daddy’.”
“You never did explain how that
whole arraignment worked out.” He let Kent go.
“He picked me up out of an alley
when I was seventeen. He had me move in, pose as his son. I couldn’t turn him down, and I can’t have
anyone else finding out.” For the first time Eugene saw just a glimmer of
strength shoot across Kent’s eyes.
“Sometimes I think he actually believes I’m his son, though.”
“Turn you on?” Eugene smirked.
Kent shook his head.
“Well, to each their own.” Eugene
kissed him softly. “Now, lets get him plan in motion, especially if you don’t
want all that dirty laundry to be aired out for everyone to see.”
Kent smiled. “Of course.”
“Explain one more thing to me.”
Eugene took a step towards Kent. “Why, exactly, did you start your little
hobby?”
Kent’s smile grew. “Pretty little rich
kids need to get taken down a peg or two.”
Kent took a step towards Eugene. “Now tell me something. Why did you
want to get involved with my… little hobby?”
Eugene pulled him close. “I like to
see what I’m not supposed to see.”
