Tim was not happy. It
was Saturday night, and instead of being at a party down on Frat Row, or
bunkered down in his dorm with his girlfriend and a six pack, he was being
dragged down a dirty, crumbling hallway.
It had been Lori’s idea.
Every stupid “adventure” was Lori’s idea. Tonight’s excursion had taken them into
Warner Hall, an old dorm two weeks away from a visit from a wrecking crew. As he was wandering through the hallways,
Lori tugging him along by his arm the entire time, he could see that it
wouldn’t take much to take the building down.
The walls were crumbling, huge holes visible down the long, shadowy
hallway. The tiles on the floor were cracked
and in some places completely missing.
The place was a death trap.
“Lori, we shouldn’t be here.” He pulled his arm free, and nearly tripped
over a loose piece of lumber in the middle of the floor.
“Oh come on! It’s a
little urban exploration.” Her blue eyes
suddenly lit up. “We should so be
filming this! Stuff like this gets major
hits on the internet.”
“Yeah, and when the school finds out we could get our asses
expelled. I don’t know about you, but I
plan to graduate from Hartmore.” He
sighed. “Us being in here is a major liability for the school. If we get caught…”
“Major liability?” Her cute little face scrunched up, and
she brushed her long, auburn hair over her shoulder. “This is what I get for dating a guy majoring
in damage control.”
“Hey, sometimes you need to play it safe.” Tim
shrugged.
Lori stepped closer to him, pressing her body against
his. He could feel his breath catch in
his throat as she pressed her ample breasts against him. He could feel her firm, taught nipples
through the thing fabric of her T-shirt.
Her lips grazed his.
“But sometimes a little risk can be pretty… exciting.” Her
voice was a raspy whisper that made his blood run hot.
He could feel his pants grow tighter as his growing erection
pressed against the zipper of his jeans.
That was all it took, and he was putty in her hands. Well… maybe a little more firm than
putty.
He leaned closer, moving in, his lips touching hers. She giggled.
Before he could kiss her Lori pushed away from him, running
into the dark hallway, and out of his view.
“Come and get me!”
Her voice echoed down the hallway.
“If you catch me, I’ll give you a reward.”
Tim stumbled back, his foot catching on the same piece of
wood that had tripped him earlier. He
tumbled back, landing hard on his ass. “Dammit
Lori!”
Slowly he got up, brushing the dust off of the back of his
jeans.
“Lori…” Tim called out, carefully stepping forward, hoping
his eyes would adjust to the thick darkness that seemed to envelop the entire
space around him. “Lori, you shouldn’t
be running around here. You don’t even have a flashlight!”
He heard her giggle.
He moved quicker, his eyes able to make out a bit more of
the landscape ahead of him. Of course
they had to enter this dump on a night with almost no moonlight, and even
better, they didn’t bring flashlights.
He took his phone out of his pocket, turning on the small
light. It didn’t help much, but it was
enough to make sure he didn’t break his neck.
He slowly made his way towards the room where he thought he heard Lori’s
giggle come from.
“You’re getting warmer.” She giggled again. “So, much warmer.”
He rounded a corner, stepped into what looked like an old
common room, and there she was. Lori
stood in the middle of the room, and as his flashlight played over her body he
could see that she was completely nude.
Her fingers traced along her round, beautiful breasts and then down her
tight, toned belly, and then into the trimmed triangle of pubic hair that
rested above her sex.
“Like your prize?” She bit her lip.
All Tim could do was nod.
He liked it. He wanted it.
“Now you.” She
pointed at him, motioning for him to remove his clothes.
It didn’t take much more than that. Tim started to strip off
his clothes as quickly as possible. He
looked down, kicking off his shoes and pulling off his pants. It wasn’t graceful, but at that moment he
could give a shit less about grace.
When he looked up he froze, his eyes wide.
“What?” Lori looked at him, still smiling.
Behind Lori a hulking figure stood his body seemingly made
of shadow. The thing had just appeared,
and there it stood, its glowing red eyes watching him.
“Be… behind you.” Tim’s voice was a rough croak. He couldn’t move. He couldn’t run. He couldn’t even point.
Lori never got a chance to turn around. The creature lifted one huge, clawed hand and
with a violent swipe, severed Lori’s head from her body. A geyser erupted from the cleanly severed
stump, and Lori’s body stumbled from side to side before collapsing to the
ground.
That same hand, one long finger dripping with blood, reached
out to Tim. When it spoke its voice was
a bone-shaking growl.
“Come and get your reward.” The creature belched out loud,
offensive laughter.
Tim tried to turn, to run, but his ankles caught in his
jeans, which had settled around his ankles.
Still, he needed to get away, he needed to call the police, he needed
to…
There was a sick, slithering sound and Tim turned his head
slowly. His breath caught in his
throat. It appeared that the creature’s
back had erupted, a multitude of violent, thrashing tentacles whipping from the
thing’s broad, muscular shoulders.
Several had made their way to the floor, sliding across the dusty, dirty
floor towards him, towards his bare legs.
Tim didn’t even have time to fight before he was overtaken,
the tentacles moving around him, wrapping around his body, binding him. He opened his mouth, he tried to scream, he
tried to let someone know that he was there.
Too late he realized that he had made a horrible mistake.
A tentacle forced its way past his lips, over his tongue,
and down his throat. It was inside him
now, and there was no hope for escape.
There was no hope. The remaining
tentacles found other entryways into his body, and soon he could feel himself
being consumed. The pain was
immeasurable, but underneath…. Underneath was an odd undercurrent of
pleasure. His brain felt hazy, and soon
an intoxicating warmth washed over him as his body gave in to the invading
force.
There was something on those things. Something that was entering him now, invading
his blood stream almost in the same way his body was being invaded. It calmed his brain, dulled him, and soon he
gave in.
As the tentacles probed deeper, the room began to get fuzzy,
and soon Tim found himself drifting away, the dark room fading to gray. It felt as if the world around him was about
to fade out, and the intoxicating ecstasy took over, pushing him out of his own
body, and into… nothing.
