My conversation with
Randy went as expected.
He listened, but he
didn’t believe me.
No, the Unknown Sender
would have to push him a little more before he really believed.
That was how it had been
for me.
That was how it had
probably been for the people before me.
Who knew how many people
that had been?
My muscles tense.
The fear came at me like
a wave.
I stumble.
My heart is beating so
hard that I can hear it in my ears, and feel the throb of the vein in my
temple.
I rush towards the
stairs, towards the EL, towards escape.
On the platform I can
suddenly breath again.
I feel calm. I feel… I feel hands on my back.
I hear the train coming.
I close my eyes.
